? Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen "A. P. J." Abdul Kalam (15 October 1931 – 27 July 2015) was the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. He was also known as Missile Man. DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam remained unmarried throughout his life. DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam passed away at Bethany Hospital, Shillong, Meghalaya, due to heart failure after having collapsed during a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong.
